In some cases, natural is by far the best. And for base layers, there is a natural material that outperforms all others – Merino wool. What’s so special is that the fibers are soft and fine, and have a structure that provides an insulating effect that both warms and cools. And unlike many other materials, wool insulates even when damp. Need we even mention that all of our base layers are made from Merino wool?
